Welcome to Koptan ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Koptan, including our web application and Chrome browser extension (the "Service"), designed to help you manage your Facebook account and social experience.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You may use Koptan to manage your accounts on the Platforms using the features provided by the Service. Koptan works only through the session you have already opened in your own browser on each Platform, and we never ask for or store your password. You are responsible for all activities carried out under your accounts while using the Service.

Important: Excessive or rapid use of the Service may breach Facebook's policies and lead to account restrictions. We are not liable for any consequences arising from improper use of the Service. Use Koptan responsibly and within Facebook's rate limits.

All processing of your Platform data happens locally within your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data from any Platform to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

All Platform data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any third party

We apply standard security practices to protect all local processing

Koptan, including all original content, functionality, and Chrome extension code, is the sole property of Koptan and its licensors. It is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not use Koptan's branding, content, or materials without prior written permission.

Koptan is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

Inability to access or use the Service

Facebook policy changes affecting the Service

Any Facebook data processed through the Service

Facebook account restrictions resulting from use of the Service

As Koptan interacts with Facebook's platform, you must comply with Facebook's Platform Policies and Terms of Service. We may suspend or modify the Service in response to changes in Facebook's platform rules or limitations.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, stop using the Service.

Koptan includes a range of features for managing your Facebook account and social experience. By using the Service, you agree to use all features responsibly, in compliance with Facebook's Terms of Service and applicable laws, and in a manner that respects the privacy and rights of others.

Understanding Action Reversibility

Before using any feature within the Service, you should understand which actions can be undone and which cannot:

Reversible within Koptan: Some features within the Service include a dedicated reverse action. Check the relevant section of the Service to confirm whether a reverse option is available.

Reversible on Facebook: Some actions can be reversed directly on Facebook's platform, even if the Service does not offer a dedicated reverse feature.

Permanent (cannot be undone): Some actions remove content permanently from both the Service and Facebook. We strongly recommend exporting your list before proceeding with any permanent action, so you retain a record of what was affected. Koptan is not liable for permanent data loss resulting from your use of these features.
